SALINA, KS – Inspection Services LLC dba HouseMaster, a.k.a. HouseMaster Home Inspections of Central Kansas, hired Darla Phelps of Brookville, KS, as a full-time home inspector. She will be available for inspections by spring 2019, following her months of intensive professional training, passage of the necessary exams for licensure and certification, plus job shadowing and assisting owner-inspector Brian McCullough.

In addition to successfully studying and passing the National Institute of Building Inspectors curriculum during the fall, near the end of 2018 Phelps took and passed the National Home Inspector Examination® given by the Examination Board of Professional Home Inspectors (EBPHI). The NHIE® tests a home inspector’s knowledge of conducting a thorough home inspection, as well as testing for skills in client relations, communications and report writing. By passing this test, Phelps demonstrated her good fit for this career field. She also has been added to the NHIE® qualified inspector database at http://nationalhomeinspectorexam.org/inspector-database/.

HouseMaster Home Inspections of Central Kansas serves clients throughout Central Kansas with a specific focus on Saline, McPherson, Reno and Harvey counties, and the cities of Salina, Lindsborg, McPherson, Hutchinson, Hesston and Newton.

“I feel very fortunate to join an organization that holds such a high commitment to customer satisfaction and quality of service,” said Phelps. “I am looking forward to building positive relationships with clients, not only with those people who request a home inspection from us, but also with the real estate agents who work with the buyers and the sellers.”

Phelps’ years of providing outstanding customer service have proven that she can relate well with clients and relay detailed information to them in a manner that will make it understood. She is highly motivated concerning her new role as home inspector and is eager to build on her certified training and growing knowledge of the field.

Most recently, Darla Phelps worked as Community Forum Administrator, assisting with managing and monitoring online community forums for Forum Foundry.
