Dave is trained by the National Institute of Building Inspectors (NIBI), a NACHI member, and is known for his attention to detail and customer service skills. Before becoming a licensed NC & SC Home Inspector with HouseMaster, Dave’s first job in the construction industry was well over 20 years ago when he joined the local construction union 1076 in Pontiac, Michigan. Over the next several years Dave’s job took him across the South and Midwest working in such cites at East Jordan, Michigan; Glasgow, Kentucky; Talladega, Alabama; and Kokomo, Indiana to name a few. After moving to Charlotte and a few-year detour in professional baseball (earning a world record), Dave started working in the crawlspace and basement waterproofing industry. It was during this time Dave discovered his love of helping homeowners with their largest investment. Today, Dave uses his knowledge and experience of home construction and restoration to help home buyers and sellers better understand their homes. In his spare time, he spends his time with his wife Katy and their dogs Zelda and Jax or playing hockey.
