A native of St. Clair Shores, Michigan, Craig attended Northern Michigan University graduating in 1993. Following graduation, he completed a combined federal civilian and military service which spans more than 27 years. His assignments included positions in Germany, Pennsylvania, Missouri, New Jersey, and New York and Alaska. Following retirement from federal service Craig became the City Manager for Ishpeming, MI for 4 1/2 years. He purchased his HouseMaster franchise in 2024, bringing a wide-ranging background to his inspection business. Craig has education and training in Wildlife Management, and has worked as a phlebotomist, environmental chemist, physical scientist, force protection and physical security program manager, director of security programs, engineer planner, Deputy to a Garrison Commander, and City Manager. His many assignments led him through multiple home buying/selling and rental experiences. He has bought, sold and rented homes in multiple states and Germany. A U.P. camp owner, he has also been through the challenges of implementing permits, installing power, understanding the rules for well and septic. He has performed a myriad of home improvements large and small over the past 30 years. In this new role, he will share his knowledge and expertise by guiding clients to become confident and informed home buyers/sellers.
