Housemaster [SW Idaho], has done a majority of my buyer house inspections for the past 25 years. They have always been professional in their work and toward the clients. They do not overstate or understate the condition of the property. They point out potential issues and give recommendations as to preventive maintenance. They have always been on time and timely in getting the reports to client and me. They are my preferred inspection company.

Our inspector was very personable, gave good information and advice for us as first time buyers. I thought we were just buying an inspection to complete the home buying processes, but we were given so much more. Our inspector was able to make recommendations, suggestions, for long term home care and took the time to answer some of our most basic questions. Thank you!

The inspector was very through and detailed. He covered all aspects and found the roof to be of inferior manufacture and suggested that an independent roof inspection be conducted. That process was started while he was on site and it was determined that he was correct in his analysis and that the homeowner should apply for a warranty replacement since the house is only 10 years old. Your inspector saved me the cost of replacement as the buyer and we have elected to NOT to purchase this house based on our timeframe and additional expense that we might have to incur should the manufacturer not replace the roof for the current owner. The cost of the inspection was well worth the price and to be sure, we will utilize HouseMaster again and will request the same inspector again on our next bid to purchase a home in the Boise area...hopefully this weekend! I might add that we have owned numerous homes in our long marriage and your inspector was among the best we have experienced. Thank you...so much!
